Fable’s show career was second to none.
He gained his Championship and CD titles on the same weekend
at the age of 11 months and 1 week.
His Championship was gained in 5 challenges
(4 being the minimum possible) and his CD in 4 trials
(3 being the minimum possible).
He was a multiple All Breeds Best Exhibit in Show Winner
and multiple Reserve Exhibit in Show Winner.
Fable’s career was highlighted with a Royal Best of Breed,
Royal Reserve Challenge, 1991 National Dog Magazine Best of Breed
Golden Retriever in Australia and New Zealand, and amassed over
1,200 challenge points – 12 times an Australian Champion which today would qualify him as a Australian Grand Champion.
His tragic early death limited his breeding potential,
however frozen semen from Fable has ensured his qualities
are being passed on long after his death.
